Period and Waterpark?
My friend and I are going to a waterpark tomorrow, and she got her period. She WILL NOT use a tampon..do NOT suggest that. If she uses a slender pad, and wears a pair of board shorts over a bikini bottom, will she be ok? PLZ HELP
Answers:
If she won't use a tampon then she can not go swimming. Your period does not stop when you're in the water. The pad would absorb water very quickly and then no longer be able to absorb the menstrual blood. The blood would get washed into the pool which might be fine if it was your own private pool that nobody else swam in but do you really want to go swimming with somebody bleeding in the pool? It is very unsanitary.
