When does your period end on the pill?!

Question:

When does your period end on the pill?

Ladies on the pill -- does your period usually end before the reminder pills are over or can it sometimes go into the active pills?

I got slight brown discharge after I took my first active pill and assume it was the end of my period? It can't be implantation bleeding right??

Please help, thanks!

P.S. My period started on a Tuesday and stopped around Friday, then two days later I got the brown discharge in the morning.

Answers:

If you just started the pill, it will take a little while for your usual cycle (which could be shorter or longer than 28 days) to fall into the set regime of the pill.

Your period should eventually end about a day after you start the active pills (depending on its length).

Give it a couple months, your body just needs to re-adjust. :-)

Missing a pill or taking one early or skipping the reminder pills can also cause the brown discharge.
