I've been having some white thick discharge and it does not make me itch but it just bothers me. Is that normal?

All women have disharge. The vagina is "self cleaning". It may depend on where you are at in your cycle as to the consistency of discharge. If you are concerned, go to your ob/gyn and get a check up. You should worry if it has a bad odor, is yellow/greenish(infecton) and if you have burning and or itching. I suggest to go ask your Doc. if this concerns you. It is not your period..... that would be blood. Also you could have a mild yeast infection. get a check up... only way to know for sure.
