Health question - professionals please answer!!!!?!

Question:

Health question - professionals please answer!!!!?

I'm fed up of my GP, been trying to get answers for this for the last 4 years (i'm 21 now).

Symptoms:
*constantly tired and lethargic, serious lack of energy, falling asleep in work
*ridiculously heavy, erratic periods (and i cant take the pill)
*regular constipation
*weight gain (not serious amounts but not down to my diet i eat quite healthily)
*unexplained aches and pains all over my body

no matter how much sleep i have, i still feel tired. the doctor told me to exercise - i barely have the energy to get up an go to the loo!

i have around 7 hours a night. however on the weekend if not woken i can quite easily sleep all day. i can come home from work exhausted, but by the time i get to bed i'm wide awake and can't sleep.

i have been tested for thyroid problems which came back clear. any ideas? serious answers from medical professionals please!

cheers.

Answers:

My first thing with the Chronic fatigue would be mono(nucleosis) depending on length and severity of symptoms
Possibly an abnormal composition of your digestive hormones, small intestine/gall bladder/panc
An abdominal/pelvic CT scan WITH CONTRAST might be helpful in determing if anything is wrong with your internal organs.
Definitely have some lab work done, is it possible you have Lyme's disease do you live near the woods
Another possibility would be a sleeping disorder, where you don't get enough REM sleep at night
Unfortunately its really hard to diagnose with out seeing in person. If it gets to intense maybe check into a good ER somewhere
Also I know if you go to yourdiagnosis.com you might be able to put in your symptoms in and get a more accurate match

Best of luck, sorry I can't be of more help
