Who makes the most accurate home pregnancy test? How much do they usually cost?!
Question:
Who makes the most accurate home pregnancy test? How much do they usually cost?
Answers:
I've heard great things about First Response as far as accuracy goes. The box says you can test up to 4-5 days ahead of a missed period, but for greatest results, don't test until you've actually missed your period.
You can get a 2-3 pack for around $17 from most major chain drugstores like Walgreens, CVS, or Rite Aid, and from places like Wal-Mart, K-Mart, or Target.
If you're actually TRYING to get pregnant and might need to test over and over again month-to-month, you might save money by ordering them in bulk from EBay. I can't remember off the top of my head how much they cost from there, but I remember it's a pretty good savings over buying them in stores.
If you don't mind paying a little more, ClearBlue makes a digital home pregnancy test that's also pretty accurate. Depending on who you talk to, it's THE most accurate, short of a blood test at your doctor's office. They aren't much more expensive than the First Response tests.
Check any of those drugstores' websites that I listed above, and you should be able to get a price.
