If you're not a "wait till you're married" kind of girl, at least wait until you're with somebody that you really care about, that really cares about you, too. Be honest with yourself on that - don't use sex to make him love you, or to keep him, or make yourself more popular.
Sex changes things. It's kinda like playing with fire. It can be fun and exciting, but you can also get burned really badly. So if you're going to risk it, at least risk it for someone really great.
I guess my advice to you is to wait until you're sure. When you're ready, you'll know. If you're not sure you're ready, you're probably not really ready.
