Tampon trouble?!
Question:
Tampon trouble?
help! i can't get it in!
Answers:
First things first ... relax! If you're tense, you're going to have trouble getting it in. Embarassed? Don't be, it's your own body.
Wash your hands, then put one leg on the toilet seat and spread your vagina open using your fingers. With the other hand, hold the bottom of the tampon using your thumb and index finger. Push the tampon into your vagina, once the top is in, push upwards on the applicator so that the tampon fully enters the vagina. If it's in right, it shouldn't hurt and you shouldn't even feel it. I would recommend Tampax Pearl since you are a beginner and they are slimmer than other brands. Sometimes it's best to try to insert a tampon when your period is the heaviest, that way it will slide in easier since it is well lubricated. The instructions on the box should help, too. Good luck.
