Can you go swimming with a pad?
My new boyfriend wants to hang out (with all our friends) at the pool. And i just HAD to get my period today at 2 am in the morning!!! I'm too young to use tampons (according to my Mom), so, can I go swimmin' with a PAD?! i HAVE to go. i just have to go!! my flow isn't that heavy btw

NO. The pad will get soaked with water, and get really big and heavy and drip water, so it will be totally obvious to everyone that you're wearing one.
You can go to the pool without swimming - just wear shorts and explain you're not swimming today and glare at anyone who ask questions - the girls will understand and the boys will be too embarassed to press the issue.
Talk to your Mom again about using tampons - there really is no reason why you can't use tampons at any age. If she still won't agree, suggest you both dicuss the matter with your doctor, and agree to follow whatever your doctor suggests.
