I have been having the following symptoms and I don't know what the problem is! I've had diarrhea for 2 weeks, sharp pains in my lower abdominal region on both sides, my last menstrual period was heavier than normal, I've been spotting for a week, and I have nausea often. I don't have an appendix or a gallbladder so it's not that. I took a pregnancy test last week and it was negative, so I'm not pregnant. Any ideas as to what this is? If it doesn't clear up by the end of the week I'm going to call my doctor.

It sounds like it could be uterine fibroids or abnormal uterine bleeding. You should call your doctor so you can get in.
Serious people, virus bacteria????? She is bleeding for goodness sake! The diarhea and nause could be caused by pain and discomfort. Please consult with your doctor.
