Please Help Will we lose this baby?
My sister is 5 months pregnant she had bleeding went to the hospital now they have her in labor & delivery, because her cervix was 2.6cm and in less then 2 hours it is now 1.6cm, the docs gave her medicine to prevent contractions, the baby is really normaly healthy, the hospital will do a cerclage tommorrow because they want to see if she can make it through the night! please anybody can help us. will the baby make it? please!!

A foetus of five months gestational age is very unlikely to thrive. I'm so sorry for your sister and for you. One thing is paramount to bear in mind, however, that is - nature is quite methodical and is not capricious. If your sister is bleeding and contractions cannot be stopped, it might well be nature's way of telling you that if the pregnancy were to go to term there might well be other problems as yet unforeseen.
