Late growth spurt?!

Late growth spurt?

is it possible that i have a late growth spurt?

i'm 5'1.5 and 14 year old girl and i've never grow more than like around 1 or 2 inches a year. i've already had my period for almost 2 years. could it be that my growth spurt is late or i've already had it? i really want to grow taller soon >.<

my mom is around 5'4 and my dad is around 5'7. my grandmas are around 5ft and my grandpas are around the same height as my dad

I'd say if you're 14, there is a chance you may still have a growth spurt. I did around that age, but I got stuck at 5'3 and stayed there. Rule of thumb to go by--add mom and dad's height, divide by two, subtract two inches from that for a girl, add two inches from that for a boy--should give you a guideline of where you are most likely to fall in. I think I stunted my own growth, b/c based on the advice I just gave you I should be 5'5, not 5'3, lol. Well, take it for what it's worth....
