Going off birth control pills?!

Going off birth control pills?

I have heart palpitations and after extensive testing (ekg, holter monitor etc) I was diagnosed with anxiety and told to RELAX. I was thinking of going off of the pill thinking it would help my mood. Do I need to consult my doctor before doing so? What are some side effects to stopping it?

Call your and ask about the pill. I have been on and off the pill many times. I haven't noticed a side effect going off the pill. But be sure that is what you want, because going back on is very difficult, your body will go through major hormone changes.
