Tampon help?
i've had my period for a little over a year. I got it last may. Anyways, my mom got me tampons during my last period but i chickened out. I tried them the other day, and now i know i'll be able to use them. But, im going to the beach with my friend and her family next week when i'll be having my period. Will my tampon stay in when im in the water? What happens if i cant get it out when its time to change them? im scared!

Don't worry, the tampon will stay in. Removal will be no different than at any other time, in any other situation. Being in the water will not effect any thing. You might want to take a spare or so just to make you feel more comfortable since you are concerned about it, but it's entirely up to you.
