i am into month 2 of this pill (6 weeks) and for over 2 weeks i have been staining but now since saturday bleeding quite heavy - is this normal - really thinking of coming off this pill - hubby is nagging me as well for sex !!

Thank you kindly for all your answers - looks like i'm going to have see the dr, 3 weeks of bleeding and clotting now as well cant handle it anymore aarrgghhh - had to give it a try!!! strange how i was just put on this pill to regulate my period!!!

This med is new to me however, what you are describing is NOT normal. You need to speak with you GYN NOW. Don't wait. In the meantime, I'm going to look up this drug and the side effects.
I looked up side effects and it said only 1-5 women have spotting and breakthrough bleeding. But overall incidents are very low. So perhaps you should just give your GYN a call and talk with him, I don't think it's a serious as I first thought it was. I never took any birth control so I have no experience in incidents like this.
