Question:

Hello i am a 13 year old girl and i need some help on getting a motivation to sleep earlier on the week days.?

I think i sleep too late on school nights. so i need some help. this year i am going to 7th grade n school starts at 8:30AM. but i have volleyball practice in the morning so i have to be at school at 7:30AM. so this means i have to go to bed at 9:30, but i cant sleep that early!!! i usually sleep at 11:00-12:00 at night! i really need help!!!


Answers:

cut out caffeine and sugar a couple hours before going to bed and slowly move yourself into a new sleeping pattern, also start getting up earlier than you will for school before school starts. it helps so much. also don't watch tv right before bed, try reading or something else before sleeping the tv is more likely to keep you interested thus you wont be as willing to sleep. good luck!
p.s. forget about being perfect it's not possible.
