Missed period & pain in lower stomach (?'s)?!

Question:

Missed period & pain in lower stomach (?'s)?

Hello. I am 24 years old. Mother of two children. I started my period at age 11. Since then I have never in my life had a missed period or been late on a period more then six days. I have had ultrasounds in the past which came back normal, no cysts, tumors etc;. But that has been 3 years ago since my last ultrasound. My cycles are 32-36 days long. In the past 16 months they have stayed consistently in the range of 32-35 days. Two months out of the 16 months they were 36 days and one which was the longest until now 38 days.

I am not currently on any birth control pills, patches etc.

My last period was May the 11th, 07. I am currently on cycle day 48. The day that I start my period the most on is cycle day 35. So that makes me around 13 days late. Almost 2 weeks.

I have taken 7 home pregnancy tests over the past 2 weeks. All were negative except for one that kinda looked positive but I took another right after that which was indeed negative. I have had my blood taken and....

and my HCG level at that time was found to be zero. Which ofcourse is negative. That test was taken aprox. 10 days ago. Since then I have taken at least 5 home tests that have been negative.

It is not normal for me to miss a period at all. I have very bad lower stomach pain also. It comes and goes. It is very, very low across the top of the pubic line. On the right and left and sometimes all the way across.

I have not had any changes in diet, excersise, stress, sleep patterns, weight gain or loss or anything like that. Everything has pretty much stayed the same as every other month.

What do you think is going on with my body? What do you suggest I do? I would also like to note that I have no insurance but have found a low income based womens health clinic but they don't have any opening appointments until July the 11th!

Also* do you think there is any chance that I could be pregnant and it was just to early to pick it up, maybe ovulated later this month? I hope not!

Answers:

Keep the july 11 appointment and maybe get on the list to call if someone cancels. Sometimes women skip a period for no reason, and some women dont get a positive preg test until a couple months into it, so instead of spending so much money on preg tests, try not to worry about it, because that alone can cause enough stress to skip a period, and just find out what the doc says.
