Heavy periods?
I'm fourteen years old and I've had my period for about three years now. It is very, very heavy and lasts about 10 days! I think that I'm just a little too young for birth control. I also don't want to talk to my doctor about it for a few reasons. One being that I don't really like him, and I feel uncomfortable around him (even though I know he's a professional and all.still...it's my decision and i feel self concious around him) So my real question is..Is they anything that I can do at home to keep my period from being so heavy and lasting so long?

your not to young for birth control im 13 and started in this month cuz my periods were wack also i had weird pains so they gave me a birth control thats not very strong at all i suggest talking to your mother about it
