ok, so im 13 years old and i got ,my period last year in january so ive had it for about 2 years... the first time i used a tampon was august of last year... my mom had to put it in for me and she said how to do it briefly because we didnt have any time... so i barely knew how to insert one in... this year my mom taught me how to and i tried but i just couldnt cause it felt uncomfortable. i got so desperate that i began to practice it, but it still wouldnt go in, and i even tried really hard to concentrate and be relaxed. it just wouldnt go in! any tricks please, tell me how you personally do it! sorry for the long story and thank you so much!!!

(now don't laugh, this is how my older sister taught me and she was an RN)
lay on the floor with your knees up (feet on th e floor) and slightly apart.
lift your butt just alittle and when take a deep breath, then blow it out and insert.
i hope this works for you!! one thing though -- if you don't really have to use them - there are some great pads out there that aren't the "mouse mattresses" of my youth. if you get the tampon thing down pat, every douple cycles you should use the pads and let your system flush itself out like it's supposed too.
