WWE Chris Benoit: Did any of us really thought we knew Chris?

Ive always seen Chris Benoit as a no nonsense, all business, intense performer who didnt smile very often but that was his character. he wasn't a smiler, he was a straight up machine

Even though none of us knew him personally, Ive seen him perform for years and he was very passionate about what he did in the ring. He always showed true passion for what he did in that ring and so knowing this, what mental imbalance do you think he had to cause him to randomly and out of nowhere murder his wife and kid?

WWE.com have so far denied any connection to roid rage as being a reason, because wwe states only presrcibed medications were found in the Benoit household and a toxicology test wont provide results of any substance in Chris's system for at least for at least 2 weeks, when the results are obtained. Has anyone ever thought then,if he was completely clear of any substance, what his motive could have been?

also i dont know if anyone has thought about this yet but considering how passionate and intense Benoit was, do you feel that he might have felt at 40 that his chances to achieve status of WWE champ again were slim, causing him to suffer great depression at the potential realisation of never again achieving his dream and being the best of the best at his sport?

The only thing this doesnt explain is why he took his wife and son's life.

Its horrible to think but at least if we knew it was drugs, it would be dreadful all the same but at least we would have more of a understanding to Benoits' mindstate at the time of the events.

I think it is actually more disturbing to think he just had some sort of sudden breakdown and had no reason at all for any of this actions
