Can you insert a tampon without having your period?!

Question:

Can you insert a tampon without having your period?

I'm 13 years old and everyone has there period except for me so i started to tell people i did have it. So its like I've started to get reeeaally eager to have it and i want to see if its easy to insert a tampon even though i don't have my period yet.Ive tried to a couple of times but i chicken out because I'm scared it will hurt or cause some problems...is it okay to?

Answers:

It wont cause any serious issues as long as you don't leave it in. Tampons usually go in a bit easier when a woman is on her period because she's wetter from the blood, so it's possible you'll not be lubricated enough to get it in, in which case it will be pretty painful.

But yeah, just don't leave it in, okay?
