How to check my ovulating days?!

Question:

How to check my ovulating days?

I'm married for 1,5 year and now planning to have baby. any good eksperience on calculating ovulations?

Answers:

Checking your basal body temperature and your cervical mucous and position are the most accurate ways of detecting ovulation. Buy a basal body thermometer, not a regular one. Keep it beside your bed.On the first day of your period start temping. First thing in the morning, before you get out of bed, take your temperature and write it down. There should be a graph included with the thermometer, or you can graph your temp online at www.fertilityfriend.com or other online fertility sites. When you ovulate, your temperature will spike and stay up until you start your period, or will stay up if you become pregnant. Also when you ovulate, you will notice a good amount of thick, shiny, stretchy discharge. It will stretch a couple of inches before breaking. It is called eggwhite cervical mucous, and it is just like that, eggwhite. As for ovulation predictor kits, you can buy them at the dollar store. Start using them around day 11 of your cycle.

*Edited to say: not every woman ovulates on cycle day 14 which is the norm. With my first baby, I ovulated on cycle day 19 and with my second, on cycle day 11.
