WIERD! Period after 4 years?
I am 42 years old. About two weeks ago I got my period. It stopped like a normal period, but then just today I got it full blown back. I haven't had it for 4 years! It stopped after my gastric bypass surgery. I have two older daughters, but I don't know what is going on and am getting lots of cramps. Is this a sign it's coming back or what else could be wrong with me?

It could be that your extra weight prevented the normal periods at that time and now that your body weight is going down that its beginning to work again. You really need to talk to a doctor about this and make sure that you don't take chances of getting pregnant in the meantime (unless that's what you want!).
