Accident please help?!

Accident please help?

My fiance tripped on a magazing today and we are almost positive that he either fractured the part of his wrist right below the thumb or tore a ligament....... So what I was wondering is what can we find around the house to secure it and what kind of medications can he take to at least ease the pain for the next 4 hours.....

we cannot get to the hospital we have no transportation til around 9 am

a good tight bandage or sheet, not too tight for circulation but enough to hold his hand firm. if you have any anti-inflamitories give him some right away and just prior to bandaging it wrap it in ice to get the swelling down, another pain killer would be paracetamol or coedine of some kind and tell him to sleep with it raised on a pillow
