Brown period?!

Brown period?
My period is always brown and never turns red and is extremely light i.e. only seen on the loo paper when I wipe. Is there something wrong?
Answers:
No there is nothing wrong. It can range in color from a deep burgundy to a dark brown. Completely normal.
