Increased soy = yeast infection?!

Question:

Increased soy = yeast infection?

The past two weeks or so I have dramatically changed my eating by adding 1-2 servings of soy into my diet a day. With my all bran buds I’ve been using soygood and for lunches or dinners every few days I’ve been eating veggie burgers etc. Then a few days ago I got a yeast infection. I could just be a coincidence, but I really think it has something to do with what I was eating that made me more susceptible to getting one, because I’ve never had one before and I could not think of anything that I had done differently with my body. I did a little research and found that soy actually estrogen levels in women by just having one serving a day for a week. And then I compared that with reasons why some women get yeast infections and it said that it can be due to a sudden change in hormonal levels. I was totally blown away by this, but everything just matched up so well. I’m totally convinced that this is the reason why I got the infection, and plan to take soy totally out of my diet. What do you guys think of all this?
