okay so i have really, really, curly hair. What do you recommend i do when it comes to straightening it?

well, you could either do the obvious thing and straighten it with a straightener or you could look into having it chemically straightened. it works really well on really really curly hair, but it's a little expensive. it's almost just like a perm, but your hair gets straight instead of curly and it doesn't last forever.
