Did anyone take Lupron Shots?
I took 6 Lupron shots in 2006...the last one was in Dec '06. I gained about 30 pounds. When I was on the shots I had lots of side effects. I could not walk for long. Dizziness. Lack of concentration. Hot flashes. My main concern is the weight gain. Being over weight brings lots of unnecessary ailments along with it. Please suggest how I can get rid of these extra pounds.

I haven't done Lupron but I did a medication similar to it called Zoladex. I have talked to other women who have done Lupron for treating their endometriosis and they said that sometimes the weight gain that occurs with the Lupron can be hard to take off. But because it is known to sometimes cause other problems in the body according to those I've talked to I would recommend starting with finding out if you might have a thyroid problem that could be contributing to this weight gain.
In the mean time try to cut back on portion sizes and eat lots of fruits and veggies as well as drink lots of water and also try to exercise a little bit every day if you can.
