Is Ortho Tri-Cyclen a good birth control pill to take?
I'm brand new at all of this and my doctor prescibed Ortho Tri-Cyclen to me. I've been reading online about it and I'm kind of scared to take the pill. I could really use some advice on this based on Benefits and Side effects. [serious answers please.]

i've been on it for about 7 years and have no complaints. as some previously mentioned tho, pills affect people differently so you won't know how it's going to affect you till you try it. sometimes it can take up to 3 months for your body to get used to it and you may experience some side effects such as:
nausea
bleeding between periods
headaches
breast soreness
you shouldn't take it if you smoke esp. for women over 35 it increases the risk of heart problems
ortho helps with:
acne
ovarian cysts
pms
irregular periods
and some other things that prolly aren't important to u at this age
