Once you start the nuvaring, how soon can you go "bareback"?
To be blunt, both myself and my significant other would like for him to "finish" while inside but definetly are not ready for kids. I have not been on any form of birth control (well, other then condoms) in several years....

I'm on week number 3 of nuva ring. The pamplet says "during this first cycle, use an extra method of birth control...for the 1st 7 days after inserting.:

Generally after a week you're okay, but I'd give it a month just to be on the safe side.
