Im 20 and getting tested for that! i dont believe it!?

i have had problems all my life with my joints etc etc... in 2004 i crushed some vertibre while doing long jump.... now in 2007 a new doctor i have gone to, is suggesting i have blood tests for osteoporosis.... i lactose intolerant so i suppose its possible... then my mum just told me they were trying to put her on hormonal replacement therapy for osteoporsis too....

im scared! does anyone have information???

my mum just found out she has osteoporosis, and she has done everything to prevent it her whole life! So everyone in the family will be tested on a regular basis from now on, because if you catch it early you can be treated and not have any symptoms for years! Thats if its caught early. So get the test and i hope it turns out ok, but if it doesn't, at least you can do something about it! :) Goodluck.
