What will happen once I stop taking birth control pills?!

Question:

What will happen once I stop taking birth control pills?

I have been on the pill for 8 years, and will be going off of the pill to try to get pregnant. Does anyone know what will happen to my menstral cycle if i do this?

Answers:

It will take your body a while to get used to not having the extra hormones.

Just be sure you stop after your through your whole month's worth of pills. Consult your doctor if anything unusual happens (if you have a lot of breakthrough bleeding or have severe cramping.)

It will most likely take your body a while before you are even able to conceive. You have been on the Pill for a long time. The Pill basically "tricks" your body into thinking its pregnant. So be patient with it.
