Question for the married women who have had an abortion?
did you become frigid to your husband or significant other after the abortion? did you shut down emotionally to them? My wife is gone and after a major emotional melt down after hers, she left. haven't heard from her accept from her attorney. this was her choice and i told her let's keep the baby if that's what she really wanted to do. she seemed not to though. this is after her wanting one so bad for the last 7 months. Kind of got me confused that her first reaction was to abort it. Now i don't know where she is, haven't heard from her, and she doesn't seem to care. Seems like she's running away from it but she really can't. I'm assuming my marriage is over. Right? In any event, i can't deal with the drama of wanting one so bad then the drama of not wanting one my whole life. it confused the crap out of me really.

Abortions are not easy decisions. I'm sorry that your wife was upset.
Though I can't answer for her, there could be a whole host is reasons why she isn't speaking to you. Maybe her needs exceeded what you could give her in terms of support? Maybe she does care but something else is troubling her? Maybe there are other relationship needs she needs to think about right now.
Sounds confusing. Ask her if you can.
I'm sorry for both you and your wife. Abortion is never easy.
