Fresh urine should not have a strong ordor, in fact fresh urine should be clear enough to read through and ordor free.
If your urine is cloudy and has odor this signifies that you either a dehyrdrated or could be showing a urinary tract infection.
You have a few choices. Go see a doctor is your urine has a strong scent or try increasing your water intake first, for about a week, see if it changes and if not get in to see a doctor to get some tests and see what is causing the problem.
Proper water intake is 1/2 your body weight in fluid ounces per day.........so if you weight 150 lbs then you would drink 75 fluid ounces of water per day. Easily can see if you are drinking enough water by seeing the color of your urine, if it's clear you probably are drinking enough water.
