Does eating yogurt help with yeast infections?!

Question:

Does eating yogurt help with yeast infections?

Answers:

It can. Sometimes the natural balance of the various microorganisms in your vagina can get out of whack, causing a yeast infection. Eating yogurt with active cultures can help set that balance back on track.

If you suspect you have a yeast infection, but have never been diagnosed as having one by a doctor, don't use the over-the-counter medications. If you don't have a yeast infection, you could be making the problem worse. Go see your doctor to make sure that you do in fact have a yeast infection and not some other form of infection. Once you have been told by a doctor that you do have a yeast infection, you will know what your specific symptoms are. Then the next time you get one you can use the over-the-counter medications.
