You should go see your doctor, just to make sure it isn't a serious problem. As others have said, your problem may be blood sugar levels that are off. Make sure you eat several small, healthy snacks during your shift. Since you are standing for long periods of time, you may have too much blood pooling in your extremities which could throw off you blood pressure. When you need to stand in one place for a long time, move your legs to promote circulation. Wearing support stockings can also help circulation in the lower half of your body.

No matter what the cause, lie down as soon as you feel lightheaded or dizzy, so you won't fall and hurt yourself if you do faint. If you're in a place where it's impossible to lie down, sit down and try to put your head between your knees. Get a note from your doctor advising several short breaks to get you off your feet. Tell your employer of the co-worker that is taking your stool, as well. You have it for a reason.
