Question:
What could cause the sharp pain that I have on the tip of my nipple?
I have a sharp pain in my left nipple when removing my bra or putting on my pajamas. Last night it woke me up when I was lying on that part of my body. I cannot touch the area when the pain occurs and lasts for about 1-2 minutes. I should probably see a doctor but would like some info from anyone who has experienced any of these symptoms.

Does the tip of the nipple get white? If so, that is called blanching, and may be what is known a Reynaud's Phenomenon. This It may feel like burning, and then throbbing after the color comes back to it. You can put a warm wet washcloth over it to get this burning and throbbing to stop. But, as always, see your doctor.
