I'm trying to figure out how I could know my ovulation period, and I suppose first I need to know about my cycle. How do I know? My period generally lasts 4-5 days and occurs on the 13th - Whenever. So how do I know when I ovulate?

Statistically speaking, in order to really know for certain (because it will vary from time to time, depending on a variety of reasons), you will need to begin tracking the first day you notice your period, and then also record the date when you notice you stop. You will need to do this for several months.
