How can I convince my mom to let me shave??

I'm 12 and I am hairy on my legs but the hairs are blonde. I want to shave them off because they are so annoying and gross and they make it so much hotter when I'm outside. I keep on asking my mom but whenever I bring it up she either goes " You don't want to shave your legs! Be free! you're young enjoy it!" or changes the subject.
Do you have any "surefire" ways to get her to let me?

I was 12 when I first started shaving my legs. It was kinda sad how I first started though, a girl had made fun of me in school and I had come home crying. If I could do it over, I would sit down with your mom, tell her that you feel old enough to shave your legs, you still appreciate being young, but there are things you want to change about yourself. And not just for vanity reasons, but for comfort reasons as well. Best of luck!
