Women only please?!

Question:

Women only please?

if your period is late
does that change your entire cycle?
when do you start to count until your next period from the day you start even though you started late or the day you WERE supposed to start- I'm confused!
thank you

Answers:

I can not believe some of the answers you got. Honestly...

When your period is late but then starts you start tracking your cycle from when you actually did start not from when you were supposed to start. Very few woman have the same cycle each and every month and very few have a 28 day cycle. If you took an 8 month period of time for a woman she might vary in cycle from a short cycle to a long cycle for example one month she might have a 28 day cycle and another time she might have a 34 day cycle.. etc.

I know it's confusing but just disregard the day you were supposed to start and count from the day you actually started. As usually your ovulation changes when your period is late. If your trying to get pregnant you might want to use the basal temperature method to help you determine ovulation when your cycle changes. If your not trying to get pregnant then don't worry about that.

I'm on Seasonale the pill where you only have a period every 3 months, it's so nice to have a regular cycle and only 4 periods a year! :)
