I want to become an OBGYN and deliver babies. Is there a specific name for Doctors who deliver babies or are they just OBGYNs? Also, I live in Texas. How much does the average OBGYN make a year? Thanks!

Depends on poverty- level of the area you choose. Remember, MD's average $2.50- #3.00 per hour due to the $175,000-$250,000 for college ( apprx: 12-15 years total for OB gyn certification) and the $60,000-$ 85,000 a year for malpractice insurance.
Most OB gyn's put in about 130 hours a week. Money is not why doctors become doctors. It's saving lives, power, and/or respect.
