Can dancing firm you up & help you lose weight?!


Question:

Can dancing firm you up & help you lose weight?

I LOVE to dance and was wondering if it can help me lose weight in my stomach area or firm up my legs. A lot of the girls I see dancing have a flat stomach and small thighs. I am never sure if it is natural or from them dancing and shaking there butt so much :D

So my question is, can i lose a couple pounds from my stomach to where the point where its flat and firm up my body by dancing 3 times a day for minute songs?

Answers:

Three times a day, for a song that lasts a minute.
Very Doubtfully.

But dancing is a wonderful way to lose weight and make your body lean and strong. (Although, usually dancers have muscular legs. Ive never seen one with small thighs. Even ballet dancers have thick lean legs. )

If you want to flatten your stomach. Go buy one of those Belly Dancing Tapes. Belly Dancers have the most beautiful stomacks. They have to.
If you just want to Dance.. Try MTV's The Grind Dance Video. VERY FUN!
Or join a dance class they have them for adults too.

Or if you just like to dance your own way.. burn a CD with about 15 minutes of music and do that a couple times a day.
