I have had a cone biopsy, and now have difficulty with my periods, has anyone else had similiar issues?

I had an infection after the biopsy, which evidently caused a 'stricture' of my cervix. They gave me bundles of antibiotics and a D&C, my next period is due, but again I am just having pain and no period discharge - will this remain like this forever - I have worked out I probably have another 200 odd periods to go and don't fancy the prospect...,

I had a cone biopsy about 12 years ago, and got a minor infection afterwards. I always had dreadful periods. Two years ago I had a hysterectomy due to uterine fibroids .... I always thought the two problems were related, but no more periods now, and its been wonderful, though I do still get a little minor PMS, due to still having my ovaries.
