Question about mirena iud?

Hi, I need some answers about the Mirena IUD. I have had some major womans health issues for the last 9 years. And my doctor thinks that the Mirena is the answer for me. I can not take regular birth control pills and have been on Depo Provera for some time now. I also do not plan on haveing kids in the furture as well. I would like to know how it has made you or someone you know react to it or side effects that you have experieced.
