I'm 12, goin into 7th grade, When will I get my period??

90% of the girls in my grade have thier period??? I keep thinking im goin 2 get mine next, but I don't know when. What is the first sign of you getting ur period?? And when will i get mine!!!!!! QUSTION FOR GIRLS ONLY!!!!!!!!

Disney! Woohoo! Ok but anyways, I know what it feels like being in your place, I knew a few girls who had their periods but I didn't have mine yet. I have it now thought, so it's all good. Anyways here's a list:

-bloated, pants are a little tight around the waist

-very gassy

-diarhea(yuck)

-clenchy, hollow, stabby(as I describe it) feeling in your lower tummy

-breakouts of acne

-white discharge lining your panties

Now I know you're in a rush to get your period, but it's so hard to get it through to young ladies who want it that it's not that great, and it definitley does not make you a woman. So don't feel like a little girl just because you don't have it. Womanhood is about maturity and responsibility.
