When i shave my "bikini area" i always get red bumps that last about 2 days, how can i stop this?

use a good sharp razor fresh out of the package. I love Soleil razors just for this purpose. Don't rub it dry after you shave it, just pat, or dab , or air dry it. No lacey panties, it'll scratch and irritate the freshly shaven skin. Theres also a good product out there made by sally hansen I think, called Bikini Zone. It calms it right down.
