It's hard to give an accurate age. I would guess between 12 and 16 at the latest. Some may start early around as early as 10 in rare cases and some don't get it until adulthood due to some problems with their body. If you have a purse or backpack, just keep a pad or tampon with you in case you happen to see some blood indicating a possible period. If you don't get a period by around 15, contact a doctor in case of medical delays.
