Help! Strokes...MS...blood clot in the brain?!

Question:

Help! Strokes...MS...blood clot in the brain?

I'm 21 years old and believe that I may have had a couple (2) mini strokes a few years ago. Is it possible for both of your arms to be effected? During the episode both of my arms contracted, I could not move them away from my chest for several minutes, almost like someone with Cerebal Palsy. Also, I could not speak normally. I tried to say something and I slurred my words, like someone with CP. I was, however, thinking normal, I wasn't confused or anything. Do you think they could have been stroke, especially at such a young age? I also have a history of partial complex seizures. Do you think it's related? Could I have a blood clot in my brain, neurologist did testing and found nohting.

Answers:

It sounds like a seizure to me. Seizure is often associated with a sudden and involuntary contraction of a group of muscles.
