I am using Nuvaring and have questions about menstrual cycle?
I was supposed to start my period on June 2nd, i took a pregnancy test on June 7th and it was negative. I took another one on June 11, and again it was negative. On June 14th I used the restroom and there was bleeding so i figured i finally started my period, and inserted my 1st Nuvaring. My period immediately stopped, no bleeding or even light spotting whatsoever. Has anyone else had this happen? Where you use the ring and your period stops immediately, or is it possible that i am pregnant but it was too early to show up on the test. ( i used a really cheap test)

It may have been too early to tell if you were pregnant, but most tests will be able to tell you by the 1st week after your missed period. I was on Nuvaring for a few years, and a lot of times my period would end within a day of inserting it. If you start having any other symptoms of pregnancy though (ie extreme tiredness, tender nipples, nausea/vomiting) you should go to your doctor and get a blood pregnancy test done. They are the most accurate.
