Tampons and swimming?
I'm 16 years old and just discovering that tampons will probably come in handy. :P
I'm going on vacation next month and I'm worried about getting my period because we're going to be spending some time at the water park.
I've never used a tampon before, so I'm completely lost at what to do.
1. Does it hurt? (It seems like it'd be extremely painful)
2. Do they work well in pools?
3. How exactly do you insert one?
Answers:
1. Does it hurt? Not at all---when they are inserted properly you won't even know it is there. If it is uncomfortable, take it out and insert a new one.
2. Do they work well in pools? The work perfectly in the water (Pool, Ocean, Shower, Bath, Jacuzzi)
3. How exactly do you insert one? All boxes come with directions inside. The directions are written out and include pictures. The key is to relax. You might have to try a couple times, but once you get it you will wonder why no one told you how easy it was from the time you first started!!!
