Latex Allergies and Condoms?!

Latex Allergies and Condoms?

I have a severe latex allergy. If I'm even near it I break out in hives, and I swell up. I'm staying abstinent until I am married, but my boyfriend and I (who may end up as a future spouse) were deciding what we could do if we get married, but don't want kids right away.

Does anyone have any ideas?

PS-I'm not too fond of taking birth control pills, so that's out of the question.

I plan on having kids, just not until about a year after I'm married.

I am also allergic to latex.

I love my mirena IUD, it was put in and now I can forget about it for five years, or they can take it out and I can get pregnant. They do make latex free condoms if you are concerned about STD's.
